Socio-occupational integration of homeless people through stable and dignified employment
At HOGAR SÍ they do commendable work, committed to eliminating the many barriers —personal, social and structural— that homeless people face in their search for employment. They work so that these people can find an opportunity to help them recover their lives.
Mentoring for employment at Esferize
There are many programmes that HOGAR SÍ offers to companies to promote this change. Recently, several Esferize employees have taken part in the Mentors for Employment programme. This initiative was born with the vocation of generating interpersonal learning processes where an active person, with experience and knowledge, supports another person to improve their skills to access and maintain a job. The aim of this relationship is to multiply the chances of the person getting a job.

In 2017 we were fortunate to be the first company to carry out what had not yet been baptised as personalised employment. Personalised employment allows the insertion of people with greater need for support who are considered “not employable“. In this way, the right of all people to access employment is guaranteed, being the one that adapts to the person and not the other way around.

There are at least 33,000 people living on the streets in Spain. Homelessness is a complex phenomenon rooted in economic inequality, social exclusion, lack of access to basic rights and the invisibility of the people who suffer from it.
