Last 23rd of November, Esferize received the SMB (Small-Medium Business) award at Huawei’s Partner Circle 2016 event. Esferize is very proud to announce this award, which places us as the best SMB partner in Spain.
Our representation at the event involved several departments of the company and was led by Arturo Recuero, CEO of Esferize, who collected the award.
The event brought together a total of more than 350 people, including partner companies and managers from the Asian company. They summarised the milestones of 2016, among which we can highlight a very interesting Smart City project in Madrid, discussed relevant aspects of the channel strategy and announced the objectives for the coming year.
Development of the event
The opening speech was given by Tony Jin, CEO of Huawei Spain, who welcomed and thanked all attendees for their participation. He then passed the baton to Jorge Zhu, Managing Director of Huawei Companies, who was in charge of conveying Huawei’s objectives for 2017 in Spain, focused on double-digit growth by the end of the year.
Following this speech, Li Xiaoke, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise at WEU discussed the channel strategy for 2017. He also announced improvements in the relationship with partners in the coming year. Some of the key points were the solution to certain stock problems and, therefore, delivery times or the partnership level structure.
This new tiered relationship responds to Huawei’s intention and need for companies such as Esferize to support the company and also benefit from the Asian organisation’s growth.
Finally, before proceeding to the awards ceremony, Manuel Almodovar, Partner Enablement Leader of Huawei Enterprises announced the upcoming releases for 2017. Among them, there is a product that we at Esferize are already installing for our customers.
